Spicy Chai Latte Speziale!


Top o' the mornin' to y'all!

I'll give you my special recipe of my very own, homemade chai latte. Its name? SPICY CHAI LATTE SPEZIALE! Use a tea ball to put all the ingredients in (except the honey):

The recipe:
My very own SPICY CHAI LATTE SPEZIALE!

A good portion of spicy loose leaf tea (krydder-te to Norwegians)
Coarsely ground pepper (it won't escape the tea ball)
Cardamom
Vanilla powder
Steamed milk (preferably whole milk)
a big teaspoon of honey (locally produced, if possible)

In the tea ball, mix tea, pepper, cardamom and vanilla powder. Put into a large cup and steep extensively for that strong flavour. Heat some milk on the stove. Steam it, if you have the proper tools. Pour the milk into the cup. Lastly, add honey.

Golden rule of thumb when mixing the ingredients: If ever in doubt, go large.

Interesting fact: Within minutes of making this exquisite cup of liquid enjoyment, you'll observe that vanilla and cardamom will float to the top, creating an additional visual treat.
